This book follows the story of a young girl named Mary who was accused of unaliving her neighs three month old baby Alyssa. Mary was nine years old when this occurred and has been in juvenile since then she is now 16 years old and realizing that this whole time she may have been protecting her mother and allegedly might not have unalived Alyssa at all.
