Yes you can use oil on oily skin

💓 Product: Take the day off cleansing balm baume démaquillant

My Review: You only need a little bit of this to take off you makeup. It was so gentle on the skin. It took off heavy makeup too. It can least you a long time too. I will be getting again!

2 days agoEdited to

... Read moreWhen I first heard that you could use oil on oily skin, I was skeptical. It seemed counterintuitive to add oil to skin that already produces excess oil. However, after trying Clinique's Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm, my perspective completely changed. This cleansing balm works by dissolving makeup and impurities without stripping the skin of its natural moisture barrier. Personally, I found that using a small amount was enough to thoroughly remove even heavy makeup, which was a pleasant surprise given my oily skin concerns. The balm feels gentle and nourishing rather than harsh or greasy. Using oil-based cleansers like this one can help balance oily skin because they effectively break down sebum and trapped grime without causing your skin to produce even more oil in response to dryness. Many people with oily skin experience increased oil production when their skin is stripped too aggressively by traditional cleansers. However, the gentle formula of this balm prevents that rebound effect. Additionally, I've noticed that my skin feels smoother and less irritated after using the cleansing balm regularly. It lasts a long time—which is a bonus—and is very easy to incorporate into both morning and nighttime routines. I highly recommend considering oil-based cleansers for oily skin, especially if you deal with makeup removal and want to maintain healthy skin balance. Overall, oil cleansing with products like Clinique's balm has become a game-changer for me and is definitely worth trying if you have oily or combination skin types looking for gentle yet effective cleansing options.

it’s honestly not as bad as i thought 👀 i’ve had oily skin for the longest time, so face oils aren’t necessarily a needed skincare item to me. i also just never really loved the feel of an oil on the skin unless it was an oil cleanser 🧼 i thought it would clog my pores and just cause more problems,
