Meet Rupert Cornwall the III 🐾🤍
Our newest foster, and already someone who has gently wrapped himself around my heart.
Rupert was found wandering the streets alone and was taken in by the kindest family who immediately made his safety their top priority. Unfortunately, because he’s small enough to slip through their fence, they made the incredibly selfless decision to find him somewhere safer, not because they didn’t want him, they loved him, but because they cared too much to risk something happening to him.
It’s only been today… but I already adore this little dog.
He’s loving, friendly, gentle, and has the most perfect underbite that makes you smile instantly. And somehow, in the quiet moments, he does so many things that remind me of Espeon, the way he settles in her spot under the desk, lays at my feet in bed, the way he looks at me, the way he instantly owns any room he walks into. I’ve caught myself tearing up more than once today, missing her and feeling her so close at the same time.
Rupert is special. He is loved. And I know in my heart that he is missed.
