It's not your typical bar; it's a fantastic food court experience with an incredible selection of craft beer from various breweries across the US. We've been going here since day one! What makes it so special for us is the combination of delicious food trucks, a rotating selection of unique beers, and an awesome outdoor space perfect for lawn games and just unwinding. It truly embodies that laid-back, community feel, making it one of the best places to get a craft beer and enjoy a relaxed evening with friends, whether you're into stouts, IPAs, or sours. Then there's the cocktail scene, which Orlando absolutely excels at. Mathers Social Gathering and The Phoenix Jazz Club, both in the same building downtown, are our current obsessions. Mathers, with its antique-filled, parlor-style cocktail lounge, definitely hits the mark for a unique bar in Orlando. The speakeasy-esque vibe and gorgeous decor make it an incredibly cute bar for a date night or a sophisticated night out. Their happy hour from 4 to 7 PM, with 50% off drinks, is unbeatable! Afterward, we often head downstairs to The Phoenix Jazz Club for another happy hour from 7 to 9 PM, enjoying a different menu and a lively jazz atmosphere. It's literally two amazing experiences in one building, perfect for places to go out in Orlando if you're looking for something beyond the usual. And let's not forget about those chill spots that might not be traditional bars but offer a superb 'getting a drink' experience. Deeply Coffee Company is one of those places. While known for its excellent barista-made coffee and matcha, they also offer natural wines by the bottle. It's a bright, minimalist-chic spot that's perfect for a daytime unwind, but it can easily transition into a relaxed evening spot if you're looking for a quiet, chill place to get a drink that isn't focused on cocktails or beer. Their seasonal drinks are always a hit, and the overall ambiance is just so inviting. Even Sampaguita Ice Cream, with its Filipino-inspired flavors like ube cookies and cream or soy sauce butterscotch, provides a different kind of 'chill' experience. Sometimes, after a long day, a unique sweet treat is exactly what you need to unwind, and this ice cream shop delivers on that unique experience. When I'm looking for new Orlando bars or places to go out, I typically look for a few things: ambiance, unique drink offerings, and whether they have events like trivia or live music.
