First nail set back
It’s been 3 MONTHS but yaaallll my nails needed that break #nails
After wearing nail sets for an extended period, like three months, it’s completely natural for your nails to need a break. From my personal experience, continuous use of acrylics or gel nails can leave your natural nails feeling weak, brittle, and sometimes discolored. Giving your nails some time to recover by avoiding harsh treatments allows them to breathe and regain strength. During this break, I recommend adopting a gentle nail care routine. Keeping your nails trimmed and moisturized with cuticle oil or natural oils like jojoba or almond oil can greatly improve their condition. It’s also wise to avoid harsh chemicals, like acetone or excessive hand sanitizers, which can dry out both nails and skin. Additionally, consider incorporating a biotin supplement or eating a balanced diet rich in vitamins that promote nail health, such as vitamins A, C, and E. Remember, everyone’s nails grow and recover at different rates, so be patient and listen to your body’s needs. Taking this intentional pause not only helps repair any damage caused by previous nail sets but also prepares your nails for healthier and stronger growth in the future. Embrace the natural appearance during this break period—it’s a small sacrifice for the long-term benefit of resilient, beautiful nails.
