Dollar Tree Candles🌸 You Don't Have To Be Boring 🌸

As someone who uses lots of candles, sometimes it's fun to repurpose the old candles I have or do cheap gifts for people. I sometimes will also use old candles I have and repurpose them into one big jar but if you have never been in the world of candle making, this is a great way to get in. Let's get started.

Materials:

✨Mason jar

✨Dollar Tree candle (single color)

✨Essential oil or wax cube

✨Skewer or utensil for stirring

✨Silicone mat (optional, for easy clean-up)

🌸Steps:

🌸Prepare Your Workspace: Clear a safe, flat surface to work on. Consider using a silicone mat for easy wax cleanup.

🌸Melt the Candle: Use a double boiler or a pot with a heatproof bowl filled with water. Melt the candle on low heat, ensuring gradual melting.

🌸Add Fragrance: Turn off the heat and add a few drops of essential oil to the melted wax. Stir thoroughly for an even distribution of fragrance.

🌸Prepare the Jar: Ensure the mason jar is clean, dry, and free from residue.

🌸Place the Wick: Position the wick in the center of the jar. If needed, secure it using a bit of melted wax to keep it in place.

🌸Pour the Melted Wax: Carefully pour the scented melted wax into the mason jar, ensuring the wick remains centered.

🌸Let it Set: Allow the candle to cool and solidify naturally, which may take a few hours.

🌸Trim the Wick: Once solidified, trim the wick to about ¼ inch above the wax surface.

🚨Warning - Dollar Tree products could be toxic but if this is what you got, then you shouldn't have to settle for basic.🚨

🚨Consider a Silicone Mat: Cleaning spilled wax can be challenging. To ease cleanup, work on a silicone mat or protect surfaces from spills.🚨
