buttertgt - sg’s new homely cafe 🥖🤍

new cafe alert! buttertgt is a new cafe at Duxton Road and I visited after hearing loads about their bakes 🥨

immediately greeted by the homely and cozy atmosphere, it made so much sense when I found out they started out as a home bakery business.

the sourdough was crispy and fluffy, and the kombu butter was the perfect condiment, salty while slightly tangy and sweet. as a bread and butter lover, this was a treat for sure.

the madeleines were soft, dense and buttery 😋haven’t tried many madeleines so don’t rly have a basis of comparison. the matcha was quite thick but pretty average otherwise.

overall a pleasant experience, really liked the service here and might head back when they expand their menu offerings! 🫧
