Humility, in the biblical sense, doesn’t mean undervaluing ourselves but rather surrendering our will and pride to God’s greater purpose. In my own life, I found that striving to 'lift myself up' through pride or self-reliance often led to stress and disappointment. However, when I intentionally stopped pushing my own agenda and chose to trust God's timing and wisdom, I felt a profound peace and witnessed unexpected opportunities and growth emerge in my life. True humility invites us to put God first, acknowledging that His plan is often beyond our understanding but designed for our ultimate good.
