Mala Soup That’s Fire 🔥

Here’s CouCou at Jewel Changi and my first impression was, “wow, looks so atas”. CouCou is a Taiwanese style hotpot and if you’re wondering what “CouCou” means, it means “gathering” - thank you DanielFoodDiary for the education 😂

There are six soup bases you could pick from, and we got the Tomato Soup and Taiwan Style Spicy Soup (mala!). Never a fan of mala based soup but to my surprise, CouCou’s mala soup was drinkable and pleasant. Definitely worth the try if you’re a fan of spice, solid 11/10 🔥

There is a free flow bar that serves appetisers & pearl rice which is very lovely for the inner asian us who loves rice. As for the dishes, we ordered an assortment of meat & seafood along with heaps of vegetables. Meat was fresh but sadly the seafood was all frozen when served to us.

We ended the entire meal with Da Hong Pao bubble tea and guess what, it may be the best we have had here in Singapore. It’s my to-go bubble tea store now!

Here are some dishes that I love and would highly recommend when you’re there -
