3 Reasons Why Dumpling Darlings Is Worth The Queue
Dumpling Darlings 🥟 has been one of my favourite to-go dumpling places ever since my first visit and it’s opened by the founders of Lola’s Cafe!
If you’re there for lunch, they have a lunch set meal (noodles + dumplings + drinks) at only $17++. But if you’re there for dinner, everything is ala-carte and it transform into a bar where you can enjoy their signature cocktails 🍹
FYI, most of the time there’s a queue BUT I promise you it is worth the wait! Here’s the 3 reasons why Dumpling Darlings is worth the wait:
1️⃣ Very QQ noodles!
No one loves soggy overcooked noodles and Dumpling Darlings delivers one of the best bouncy noodles + the concoction of sauces they use for their noodles have a strong umami taste.
My fave is XO Prawn Noodles & Sichuan Pork Noodles 🍜
2️⃣ Dumplings Inspired By Countries
They have a variety of dumplings and each dumpling has a story behind it! Smoked Duck & Fried Pierogi dumplings are the bomb ✨✨✨✨and it is highly recommend by me for you to try it when you’re there!! 🤪
3️⃣ Secret Chilli Oil 🤫🌶️
If you’re a spice lover like me, you can ask them for extra chilli oil and they may bring out their very own exclusive chilli oil for you to try!
But take note, it is REALLY spicy 🔥
If you don’t like the idea of queueing and these 3 reasons didn’t sell it to you - fret not, you can always make a reservation prior or visit it during off-peak timings.

Speaking from personal experience, their braised pork noodles and Sichuan pork noodles are incredibly flavorful with a perfect balance of spices. The dumplings like the Smoked Duck and Fried Pierogi have unique flavors that reflect the cultural inspirations behind each recipe—adding an exciting story and taste journey in every bite. Lastly, don’t hesitate to ask for the secret chili oil if you love heat! It’s fiery and adds a punch that elevates the whole dining experience.
