New School!

So I’ve been doing some major overhauls in my home and yards because we are flipping this house into a preschool program first but eventually something I’m even more excited for and will share when the time is right.

Being voluntarily registered is great because it opens up access to resources we could use while it being a trusted vetting source for families who will consider our program.

I’m thinking about sharing this journey in more detail - technically it’s an at home day center but, we are focusing on 4 year olds as a preparatory program that is meant to anchor children in their purpose before they start kindergarten. I’ll explain a bit more in future posts.

We’ve done so much already and still have so much more to do, but I’m excited to be here creating these spaces and sharing it with others. #newbusinessowner #entrpreneur #motivation #workfromhomejobs #education

To begin, ensure that you meet local regulations and guidelines—your area’s education department can provide vital information regarding program registration. Having a registered program not only lends credibility but also grants access to resources that enhance the educational experience for children. The curriculum for preparing 4-year-olds for kindergarten should focus on foundational skills such as social interaction, basic literacy, and emotional regulation. Activities that involve storytelling, music, and art can foster creativity while aiding cognitive development. It’s vital to create a safe, engaging space that encourages exploration and learning. Networking with other educators and parents can provide support and inspiration as you embark on this journey. Online communities and local parenting groups often offer resources, ideas, and morale boosts from those on similar paths. Consider organizing workshops or playdates to build a sense of community and gather feedback on your program. Don't forget to keep the communication open with families by frequently updating them on their children's progress and activities. Transparency builds trust, making your preschool a preferred choice for parents looking for quality early education. Overall, your commitment and passion for educating young children will play a significant role in shaping their early experiences and future success.
