Holiday Storage and Organization Finds

These must haves will make your life so much easier this holiday season. I ran into Lowe’s recently and did some shopping for the holidays. I love organizing and it just makes my life easier to have things that store seasonal décor easily.

Command Strips: You can never have enough! I use them from everything to wreaths to garland. They make decorating a breeze and come off easily without damage. $8

Utilitech 3 Piece Wireless Charger: I can turn all three trees on and off with the click of a button! It’s been a game changer. But has so many uses from lamps to kids toys being able to turn on and off fast. $23

Holiday Living Wreath Storage Bag: Big enough to store up to 3 wreaths. This is great for small spaces. $15

Holiday Living 48 Ornament Storage Container: Great for storage and small spaces. They can stack on top of each other and fit easily in a closet. $17

... Read moreAfter the festive season winds down, the thought of packing everything away can feel daunting, right? I used to dread holiday cleanup, but I've learned a few tricks to make 'holiday organization' not just bearable, but actually enjoyable! It's all about setting yourself up for success next year, and trust me, future you will thank present you. First things first, I always recommend decluttering as you go. If something is broken, tarnished, or you didn't even use it this year, consider donating or tossing it. It saves valuable storage space and makes the entire process smoother. There's no point in storing things that no longer bring you joy or serve their purpose. I’ve found that being ruthless with this step makes a huge difference. My big secret for holiday organization? Categorize everything! I store all my outdoor lights together, my indoor garland in another dedicated spot, and my cherished ornaments in specialized containers. Speaking of which, those clever ornament storage containers are an absolute game-changer – no more crushed baubles! I even have a specific storage bag for my wreaths, ensuring they keep their perfect shape year after year, whether it's a simple kitchen wreath or a grand front door piece. The OCR showed a lovely green wreath, and keeping it pristine for next year is key. Labels are your absolute best friend! I use clear plastic bins whenever possible so I can see what’s inside, but even then, I label them clearly: 'Dining Room Decor,' 'Outdoor Lights,' 'Kids' Ornaments.' This way, next November, I’m not digging through boxes aimlessly trying to find that one special item. You can even take photos of the contents and attach them to the labels for an extra visual cue! Tangled lights were once my nemesis. Now, I either wrap them neatly around old cardboard pieces or use a specialized light reel. For those tricky Christmas tree lights, don't forget about those wireless remote controls that let you turn them on and off with a single click – pure magic! It saves so much crawling under the tree. The remote control in the OCR image is exactly what I mean! Think vertically to save space! Stackable storage containers are fantastic for closets, garage shelves, or even in the attic if it’s climate-controlled. I also utilize under-bed storage for flatter items like tree skirts or table runners. And don't underestimate the power of vacuum-seal bags for bulky textiles like stockings or plush decorations. Before I put everything away, I make a quick note in my phone about what worked well this year and what I might need for next year. Did I need more Command Strips? Was a certain storage solution not ideal? This little step saves so much time and stress for the next holiday season. Tackling holiday organization head-on truly makes a difference!

These purple pen organizers really do make my desk feel so much more cute, and allows me to display all my pens 💗 I taped them together in groups of 2 or 3 using double sided mounting tape so that they are less likely to tip over. ⭐️Overall rating: 5/5 #dollartreefinds #budgeting #de
