Think about where your cat naturally gravitates – is it a sunbeam, a cozy corner, or perhaps nestled amongst your throws on the sofa? For my cat, a soft, plush blanket like the one she's using in the picture is a must. I also try to ensure her nap spots are quiet and undisturbed, away from high-traffic areas in the house. Another thing I've noticed is the importance of warmth. Cats often seek out warm places to sleep, which makes sense since they're trying to conserve body heat.
