My thoughts on: Arguments against abortion
I’ve seen so many “pro-lifers” who threaten to harm and kill people going into planned parenthood, even people who aren’t getting an abortion. I’ve seen so many “pro-lifers” who don’t think kids should have parents who are lgbtq+, but expect those kids to have homes anyway. I’ve seen so many “pro-lifers” who threaten or even do: harm, kill, harass, doxx, etc planned parenthood workers. I’ve seen so many “pro-lifers” who threaten or even do threaten to bomb abortion clinics. Yet claim to be “pro-life”. It’s disgusting. It doesn’t even make sense because planned parenthood doesn’t even JUST do abortions, it’s just one out of the many healthcare services they offer. It’s insane.
IMO:
The rights of an unborn, nonsentient being should not overpower the rights of a person who cannot continue the pregnancy, or doesn’t want to. The reason why people have late abortions is because the baby died or is dying, or it is killing the person carrying it. It is not a difficult concept.
Feel free to leave your thoughts. I'm open to hearing other opinions about the topic, these are just some of the crumby arguments I've heard.

Additionally, the assertion that individuals should not engage in sexual activity if they are not prepared for potential parenthood overlooks crucial aspects of consent, education, and safe sex practices. Misconceptions exist around contraceptive methods, leading to unintended pregnancies—a situation that should be addressed through better education and access to reproductive healthcare. Understanding that sex is not purely for reproduction but also for intimacy and pleasure is vital for promoting a healthy relationship with sexuality. Critically, the separation of church and state plays a significant role in this debate. While individuals are entitled to their beliefs, it's imperative that these beliefs do not infringe on the rights of others to make personal health decisions. Thus, discussions surrounding abortion should be framed as discussions about healthcare rights, bodily autonomy, and social responsibility. By opening up this conversation, we can foster a more informed and compassionate dialogue on the subject.
Also most religious people refuse to acknowledge the fact that in a lot of religious text, abortions exist, and fetuses, are not classified as living beings in them until they are born and breathing in these texts as well 😭
