When I need strength, I often turn to Philippians 4:13, which declares, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This isn't about personal power, but about relying on a divine source of strength that enables me to face anything. For comfort, Psalm 23 is a beautiful reminder of God as our shepherd, leading us beside still waters and restoring our soul. It paints a picture of safety and peace, even in the valley of the shadow of death. Finding these verses and meditating on them has been incredibly practical for me. I often write them down in a journal, or even keep them on sticky notes around my house, so they're always visible. When I feel a wave of sadness or worry, I'll pause, read one of these scriptures, and just let its truth sink into my spirit. It's not a magic fix, but it's a consistent source of reassurance and resilience.
