End Your Lazy Girl Era

If you've been in your lazy girl era, then this post is for you. Or share it with a friend who's struggling to get back on track.

I’ve been in my lazy girl era for a while now. And at this point, I am extremely tired of it. I’m tired of being tired. I’m tired of half ass things. I’m tired of being delusional, but not in a positive way. What I mean by that is expecting the absolute top results with half or minimal effort. Yeah, that’s delusional. So here are a couple things that I’ve been doing that has been helping me stay out of that lazy bubble that I’ve been sucked into for almost the majority of 2023. And I hope that you take these tips and apply them Right now instead of waiting till the new year to do it. Hopefully by the time January 1 comes along, you will already have mastered these tips. Let’s get started.

Step 1: Tomorrow starts the night before. You can’t have a successful day unless you have thought about it and planned it the night before. And when I mean the night before, I’m not talking about one two in the morning before you go to bed. I’m speaking of 9 PM the night before think about a couple things that you have to get done tomorrow. It’s really important to PLAN Tomorrow today. Because if you don’t plan to succeed, your plans will fail.

Step 2: Top three. Pick three things that you need to get done. Only three. Sometimes I would find myself creating a list of 5 to 10 things that I felt like I needed to get done THAT day. and I would easily overwhelm myself to the point where my anxiety would cripple me and paralyze me. And I wouldn’t get anything done at all. So what I started doing is picking three things I need to get done. Two of those things are things that MUST get done. The third thing is something that I would like to get done but if I don’t, I will still feel accomplished because I got a majority of my list done. And my list only consisted of three things.

Step 3: Beauty sleep. It’s really important that we really stop taking sleep for granted. Sleep is something that is not afforded to a lot of people as you may not know. So if you have the ability to at least get between 6 to 8 hours of sleep, make sure you actually take it. When you oversleep, you will feel tired which is something that I struggled with a lot. I would oversleep. I would snooze my alarm so much. And then get upset and wonder why I’m so tired. our bodies are designed to have between 7 to 8 hours of sleep anything less or anything more we will feel it. And also for my believers out there, proverbs, chapter 24:33 speaks about how laziness will cause you to be poor. So if you want to be a luxurious girly, you can’t sleep in. Sleeping or for those who only have dreams. You have more than that, you have dreams that have potential to become reality.

I hope these tips help you because they definitely have helped me 🫶🏾

... Read moreIf you've been feeling stuck in a lazy mindset, it’s time to break free and embrace productivity! One effective strategy is to create a nightly routine where you plan your next day. By writing down three essential tasks each evening, you set yourself up for success, focusing on what truly matters. This technique helps avoid overwhelm and anxiety, allowing for clearer work progress. Another crucial aspect to consider is the importance of adequate sleep. Many underestimate how a restful night can amplify your energy and alertness. Aim for 7-8 hours of consistent sleep and try to go to bed at a regular hour. This not only replenishes your energy levels but also promotes a positive mindset for the day ahead. Incorporating small, consistency-based changes can significantly shift from a lazy era to a more driven approach to life. Engage in positive affirmations to reinforce your commitment to change and celebrate every accomplishment, no matter how small. Keeping a journal can help in tracking your progress and maintaining motivation. Lastly, don’t forget to treat yourself kindly through this transformative process. Realize that change takes time, and every small step counts toward your ultimate goal of a more fulfilling, productive life.
