Books
I had got the 3 Harry Potter books, but I had second one already . I believe someone had checked out the 1 book, so I could not get that one. So I just got book 2 and 3. I only read up to chapter 2, and both of the books are really good. But I have seen the movie, but I want to read the books as well.
When I first started reading the Harry Potter series, skipping the first book felt a bit odd, especially since it is the one that introduces the magical world. However, diving into the second book, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," and then the third, "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," gave me a fresh perspective on the story and characters. Despite already seeing the movies, reading the books offered a much richer and more detailed experience. The way J.K. Rowling builds the magical atmosphere and the intricate plotlines makes every chapter engaging. For example, the second book explores more of Hogwarts’ secrets and characters' backgrounds, which are sometimes only briefly touched upon in the films. One thing I realized is that reading the books allows you to notice subtle details and the author’s writing style, which adds depth to the story. Also, the characters' inner thoughts and the magical world’s rules unfold gradually, making it a rewarding experience even if you missed the first installment. If you ever find yourself missing a book from the series or have only seen the movies, I recommend giving the books a try. The storytelling is exceptional, and each book adds layers that make the entire Harry Potter universe truly magical and worth exploring.
