Did you know you can do this to your home screen??

✨ SCREENKIT TUTORIAL ✨

Tutorial on my previous post on how to make your home screen look like this 🫶🏻 So sorry it took so long for me to post, I was on vacation 😂 But here is the very asked for tutorial! I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any more questions. This can be very confusing but it’s so worth it 🤍

BTW,

I didn’t have enough space to add a slide about adding the background photo. It will also be in a the tab where you downloaded your apps and widgets. It saves directly to your camera roll 🩷 ALSO- you can add your OWN photos to the widgets as well!!

... Read moreAfter getting my app icons sorted with ScreenKit, my next step for a truly aesthetic home screen was finding the perfect wallpaper! You don't only have to use ScreenKit's background options. I love going into my iPhone's 'Settings' app (just tap the grey gear icon!). From there, I navigate to 'Wallpaper' and hit 'Add New Wallpaper'. This is where you can explore Apple's awesome collections or pick a photo right from your camera roll. My pro tip? Choose a background that complements your new customized app icons for a super cohesive look. Think soft pastels, minimalist patterns, or even a dreamy landscape picture that makes you smile every time you unlock your phone! Beyond just icons and wallpapers, there are so many ways to truly own your home screen aesthetic! One thing I learned is the power of widgets. While ScreenKit offers some cool ones, don't forget about native iOS widgets or even other apps like Widgetsmith or Photo Widget. I use these to display my favorite photos, calendar events, or even little inspirational quotes right on my screen, making it both beautiful and functional. To add a widget, just long-press on an empty spot on your home screen until the apps jiggle, then tap the '+' icon in the top left corner. From there, you can search for 'ScreenKit' or any other widget app you've downloaded. Playing around with different sizes and arrangements really helps achieve that polished, 'chosen app iphone screen' vibe. Another game changer for an aesthetic home screen is thoughtful organization. I like to group similar apps together and use clear folders, sometimes even with aesthetic emojis as folder titles! It keeps things tidy and prevents digital clutter from ruining your perfectly curated look. Think about your color palette too – do you want a warm, cozy vibe or a cool, minimalist feel? Matching your neutral-toned app icons and widgets to a consistent color scheme makes a huge difference. For example, if you chose a template with subtle hues, a light, airy background will enhance that clean aesthetic. And for those moments when you're exploring beyond basic customization, remember your iPhone's 'Settings' app is your best friend! It’s not just for profile installs (like when you 'Allow' ScreenKit to download a configuration profile to install icons and see 'Profile Downloaded'); it’s where you control everything from display brightness to notification styles, all of which contribute to your overall phone experience. Getting comfortable navigating these settings lets you fine-tune your aesthetic even further. I often pop into 'Display & Brightness' to make sure my Dark Mode settings align with my aesthetic, for instance. It's all about making your phone feel uniquely *you*.
