starting off in the content creator industry can be super tough and confusing, so hopefully this helps a little! i have a little over 2000 combined with both my Instagram and TikTok accounts, this is some of the PR i have received with that following!
since ambassador applications and brands emailing/dming you first is pretty simple and self explanatory, i’ll get more into pitching yourself to brands.
i used to strictly pitch on email but i have had some luck with dm pitches recently so i always feel that it is good to try that first! as i said in the post, there are a few things that you NEED to have in your pitch.
you need to tell the brand who you are and what you do. you then need to tell them why you want to work with them; do you already use their products? do you have content ideas in mind using their products? you can get super creative with it! lastly, tell them why they should want to work with you. i think pitching a content idea featuring the brand is always a good idea because it shows that you have already thought ahead and involved their brand.
my last piece of advice would be to just send the email, the worst you’re going to get is a no!
