Walmart Find Haul ✨🤍😮‍💨

Here we have a new Walmart haul of some items I found !

I ended up getting the broccoli & corn , also the USA Rice Krispie treats. I wasn’t a fan of the Rice Krispies but my son loves them , entirely Too sweet for me , but not bad , a 6.5/10. I didn’t cook the broccoli or corn yet, I’ll keep yall posted ofc 🤞🏽

• Those ice creams I might have to spin back for because both the cake pop & fudgey ones looks good 😅

Oh I also got my son the lucky charm marshmallows idk if they are new but I never seen them. I wanted the limited edition ones tbh but I know I won’t see them for a while yet again. The confetti Rice Krispies might be good aswell .

... Read moreOkay, so I know I mentioned grabbing those frozen sweet corn with buttery garlic & herb and broccoli florets with garlic & herb from Walmart, and let me tell you, they’ve been a lifesaver! As a busy parent, finding ways to get nutritious food on the table quickly, especially veggies that my son will actually eat, is a constant mission. This is where 'kinder frozen vegetables' (as in, kind to my time and kind to my kids' picky palates!) really shine. You know how it is – you want them to eat their greens, but sometimes fresh produce requires more prep than you have minutes in the day. That's why I always keep a stash of good quality frozen veggies on hand. These specific ones I found from Walmart are fantastic because they're already seasoned. That buttery garlic & herb on the corn? It's a game-changer! It adds so much flavor without me having to do anything extra. For the broccoli florets with garlic & herb, I usually just roast them with a little extra olive oil until they're slightly crispy – the kids love that texture! Here are a few tricks I've learned to make these 'kinder frozen vegetables' even more appealing for little ones: Make it cheesy! A sprinkle of parmesan or a dollop of cheese sauce can transform plain broccoli or corn into something much more exciting. Hide them (a little)! Blend some of the cooked broccoli into a pasta sauce or a smoothie (don't knock it till you try it!). The sweet corn with buttery garlic & herb is also perfect to mix into rice or even homemade mac and cheese. Dipping fun! Serve steamed or roasted veggies with a side of hummus, ranch dressing, or even a simple yogurt dip. Kids love to dip! Pizza toppings: Chopped broccoli or corn can be a great addition to homemade pizzas. Stir-fries: These frozen veggies are perfect for quick stir-fries with some protein and noodles or rice. The convenience factor is huge. There’s no washing, chopping, or worrying about spoilage. I just pull them out of the freezer, and they’re ready to go. On nights when I’m completely drained, being able to quickly steam, roast, or sauté these flavorful frozen veggies means my family still gets a wholesome side dish without me resorting to less healthy options. It’s all about making life a little easier, right? So, if you're looking for quick, kid-friendly ways to boost your family's vegetable intake, definitely check out the frozen aisle at Walmart for these seasoned options. They’ve become a staple in my freezer!
