CUSTOM APP ICONS???? 🤯🤯🤯
here is a step-by-step on how to create your own custom app icons for your home screen :) FULLY FUNCTIONAL!!
1. open up your shortcuts app! if you don’t have it (a.k.a deleted it like me LOL) simply search for it on the app store!! it’s designed by Apple so it’s free :)
2. tap the “plus” sign (+) in the top corner to create a new “shortcut”
3. tap the add “add action” button and then search for “open app”
4. the action will appear and say something along the lines of “Open ‘app’”, simply tap on “app” (it’ll be highlighted) and search for the app you want!
5. tap the share button at the bottom of the screen and select “add to home screen”
6. now let’s get creative!! rename your app, if you want! i like lowercases for mine :) but you can also put blank spaces! then tap the app icon and add a picture! when you’re finished just hit “add”
7. now you should see your new app on your home screen!!
IMPORTANT : make sure you create a new shortcut for each app or else it will overwrite each icon you make!
