Help filling this gap in my room?

My ceiling is essentially the shape for the roof so I wanted to put these tapestries up as a diagonal decoration… now idk how to fill the gap in between. The pipe in the way can’t be modified or removed at all so I’m stumped, maybe you guys can help?

2025/4/7 Edited to

... Read moreOh, I totally get the struggle of a room with a sloped ceiling and an unmovable pipe! It's like your decor dreams hit a snag, especially when you're trying to create a specific room aesthetic with cool tapestries. But trust me, there are so many creative ways to turn that 'gap' into a unique feature, rather than an eyesore. Let's brainstorm some ideas to fill that space and make your room truly shine! First off, don't see that white pipe as just an obstacle. It's an opportunity! Have you thought about embracing it? You could wrap it with fairy lights or LED strip lights. Imagine the soft glow highlighting your tapestries and creating a cozy vibe, especially if you have a 'Scream' character and skeleton theme – it could add a cool, ethereal, or even spooky atmosphere! Another idea is to wrap the pipe with decorative rope, fabric, or even faux ivy. This instantly transforms it from a utilitarian object into a decorative element that ties into your overall aesthetic. It's a great trick for rearranging room aesthetics without major overhauls. Since you're already rocking tapestries, why not extend that textile vibe? You could find a narrower, vertical tapestry or a piece of fabric art that complements your existing ones and hang it in the gap. Think about sheer fabrics or even macrame hangings that can be draped or suspended right around the pipe. This acts almost like a soft, artistic room divider, making the transition between your main tapestries feel seamless. You could use command hooks or small, adhesive clips to secure fabric to the sloped ceiling or walls without damaging anything. Greenery is always a winner for making a space feel more alive and covering tricky spots. Consider hanging some faux or real trailing plants (like Pothos or String of Pearls) from the ceiling near the tapestries, letting them cascade down and around the pipe. This softens the industrial look of the pipe and adds an organic touch. Picture it: fairy lights woven through the leaves for an enchanting effect! If you're into a darker aesthetic, maybe some darker-toned faux vines or even a hanging terrarium could work. Lastly, don't underestimate smaller decorative elements. If the gap allows, a collection of small, lightweight framed prints, mirrors, or even decorative plates could be arranged to create a mini gallery wall that follows the diagonal line of your ceiling. Or, if you're looking for something more sculptural, lightweight hanging ornaments or even a series of small, suspended shelves could provide visual interest. These could hold small plants, curios, or other items that enhance your room's unique aesthetic. The key is to think vertically and creatively about how to draw the eye, making that challenging gap disappear into a beautiful design feature. I'm sure with a bit of creativity, you'll find the perfect solution for your awesome room!

hear me out. get a final destination poster of the guy on the road who ended up w a pole in his chest (or maybe it was a different scene?) and cut the "hole" out and have it in place for the pole !!! cut the top or bottom and put tape UNDER it once placed so the line isn't as easy to see c: (i can explain in further detail if this is confusing)

Get another tapestry that you don’t mind cutting. Cut a slit from the top hem to the pipe, cut around the pipe and then use tape on the backside to close the slit (or stitch it together if you’re feeling crafty).
