book v episodes

I’m a big fan of the Bridgerton novels and the show on Netflix. I made a point to read the first book before watching the series and have read through the first 4 in the series. So naturally I was excited to watch the Queen Charlotte episodes and I definitely enjoyed them.

My sister bought me the book as a birthday present so I wouldn’t have to wait for my ‘several months’ wait on Libby. It’s an easy and fun read. There are several lines that are word for word from the series and naturally you are picturing the characters as you read. They removed a few character plot lines, specifically removing Agatha’s connection to Violet’s father as well as no mention of Violet. Overall I enjoyed it and it’s well written but it’s a novel based on a series and it’s so intertwined it’s hard to separate in my opinion. They did expand a little more on Brimsley and Reynold’s relationship which was nice to see.

If you’re looking for a fun, romantic read, then definitely pick it up!
