Does anyone else on here have one?

Comment below and I will follow you!!

If you don’t know what Letterboxd is, it is a app where you can track the films you are watching. You can create a watchlist of films you want to watch. When you watch them you can rate and review them.

You can look up movies and see cast info as well as where to stream it.

You can also create list of films around any tip you want.

I love it!

... Read moreSince I first discovered Letterboxd, it's completely transformed how I engage with movies. It’s more than just an app; it’s my personal film diary and a vibrant community for movie lovers. Let me walk you through some of the features I find most useful, especially for those looking to get started or just curious about what makes it so special. One of my absolute favorite features is the Watchlist. It’s incredibly easy to add any film you’re even mildly interested in. Just search for a movie, hit the 'Add to Watchlist' button, and *voilà*! Your personalized queue of films is ready. I use it constantly to keep track of new releases or recommendations from friends. It's so satisfying to move a movie from my watchlist to my 'watched' list once I've seen it. This interface is super intuitive and makes sure I never forget a film I want to catch. Then there's the Movie Diary – this is where the magic truly happens for me. Every time I finish a film, I log it in my diary. You can record the date you watched it (or re-watched it!), and this creates a fantastic overview of your viewing habits over time. It’s like having a digital scrapbook of your cinematic journey. The diary view shows your recent activity, and it's cool to see what my friends are watching too, right there in the activity feed. I've seen friends log films like Final Destination 5 and *World War Z*, just like the examples in some profiles I've come across. It's a great way to stay connected and get new ideas. The Rating System is another core part of the Letterboxd experience. You can rate films using a simple 5-star scale, and yes, you can do half-stars too! For me, a 5-star rating means it's an all-time favorite, a masterpiece like La La Land or Lady Bird which often appear in favorite films sections on profiles. A 3-star usually means I enjoyed it, but it wasn't groundbreaking. It's a quick and easy way to express your immediate reaction. And if you feel like it, you can add a movie review to elaborate on your rating. I love reading other people's detailed thoughts! But what I really enjoy is creating lists. This feature is an absolute blast! You can make lists for literally anything. I've seen incredibly creative ones, and I've made quite a few myself. For example, inspired by other users, I've started ranking all the A24 films I've seen, similar to how I've seen lists for the Saw franchise or *Scream films*. It’s so fun to organize my thoughts on different series or genres. I even have a dedicated list for the *Final Destination series*, complete with movie posters, which helps me remember which ones I still need to rewatch. You can also mark your top favorite films to show on your profile, giving others a quick glimpse into your taste. Beyond tracking, Letterboxd is an excellent tool for discovery. When I'm looking for something new to watch, I can easily look up a movie and see not just the cast information, but also where it's available to stream. No more endlessly searching different platforms! It truly is the best movie watcher app out there for tracking and discovering. If you're wondering what aplikasi Letterboxd untuk apa (what Letterboxd app is for), it's all about enriching your film-watching experience, connecting with fellow cinephiles, and keeping your cinematic journey organized and fun. Trust me, once you start logging your films, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it!
