... Read moreIf you’re a fan of game day snacks, these extra crispy garlic parmesan wings are a must-try. One trick I’ve found that really elevates the crispiness is using baking powder—not baking soda—in the seasoning mix. Baking powder helps dry out the skin and creates that irresistible crunch when air fried at a high temperature. I like to pat the wings very dry before seasoning, which also contributes to the crispy texture. The garlic parmesan sauce is a game changer, combining melted unsalted butter with fresh garlic, Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Adding a pinch of chili flakes gives the sauce a subtle kick that complements the mild heat of the seasoned wings perfectly. I usually make the sauce fresh and toss the wings in it while still warm, which helps the flavors stick deliciously. Another tip is to let the wings rest uncovered for a few minutes after air frying before tossing them in sauce; this short rest lets some moisture evaporate, ensuring the extra crispiness doesn’t get lost in the butter coating. For dipping, ranch or blue cheese dressing pairs wonderfully, but these wings are flavorful enough to enjoy on their own. Whether you’re hosting a big football party or looking for a satisfying snack, this recipe is quick, fuss-free, and guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. Plus, making wings in the air fryer cuts down on the mess and makes cleanup easy, which is always a plus! Feel free to experiment by adding your favorite herbs or adjusting the chili flakes for more or less heat. Sharing these wings with friends and family adds to the fun of game day, making each bite just as exciting as watching the game itself.
