THINGS TO DO IN BANFF, CANADA

I traveled to Banff, Canada for Christmas last year and it has got to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. If you are planning on heading there this winter, here are three things that you should do:

1️⃣ Go for high tea at theFairmont Château Lake Louise. The high tea is $85 per person and includes house made scones, savory canapes, and mini desserts. You can also add on sparkling or Prosecco for an additional fee. This iconic high tea fills up fast - be sure to make a reservation online!

2️⃣ Ice Skate on a frozen Lake Louise! I’ve always wanted to ice skate on a frozen lake, but have never gotten the chance. Skating on the lake is free, but if you want to rent skates, you can do so from the they are $15 per person

3️⃣ Take a gondola and see the Canadian Rockies. Tickets are $60 each - you can pre-purchase online or buy when you get there. Be sure to dress warm 🥶

Banff, Canada, is a winter paradise renowned for its stunning landscapes and outdoor activities. In addition to the highlights mentioned, visitors can also experience the natural wonder of the Canadian Rockies by exploring the range of trails available for snowshoeing and winter hiking. For those interested in wildlife, keep an eye out for local fauna such as elk and deer that roam the area even in winter. Another must-see is the vibrant town of Banff itself, where you can find unique shops offering local crafts and souvenirs. The Banff Upper Hot Springs is a great spot to relax after a day on the slopes, providing a spectacular view of surrounding mountains while soaking in natural mineral waters. Lastly, don’t miss out on the chance to visit the famous Ice Magic Festival, usually held in January, where ice carvers from around the world create stunning masterpieces right on the frozen Lake Louise!
