3 Days in NYC

We traveled here in February as my husband got me Cursed Child tickets for Christmas because I was DYING to see Tom. The entire trip was amazing, but quite the culture shock coming from Oklahoma 😂

We fit so much in during our stay, but I can’t wait to go back and see some more one day! 🍎🚕

... Read moreVisiting New York City in February can be a remarkable experience, even if the cold winter weather requires some extra planning. During my 3-day trip, I found that layering clothes and wearing comfortable walking shoes were essential since exploring iconic spots like the Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal, and Summit One involved a lot of walking and waiting in lines. One personal highlight was seeing the Broadway show "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." The production values and live performance completely exceeded my expectations, especially since I’m a huge fan of Tom Felton. Attending such a world-class show added magic to the trip and made the hectic city experience feel special. Besides the theaters, I also enjoyed wandering through MoMA, where the variety of modern artworks left a lasting impression. Foodies should not miss Din Tai Fung for excellent dumplings—a delicious comfort on chilly days. Navigating NYC as someone from Oklahoma was indeed a culture shock. The city's fast pace, diverse people, and endless attractions challenged me but also made me fall in love with the energy and vibrancy. Catching glimpses of tourist hubs like Times Square and the Statue of Liberty reminded me why NYC holds such a unique place in the world. For travelers planning a short visit, prioritizing experiences you’re passionate about makes the most of limited time. I found creating a flexible itinerary helped me balance sightseeing with spontaneous moments. The iconic sightseeing combined with Broadway and arts offered a perfect mix for an unforgettable three days in New York City.
