Please take a break🫶✨♥️

Ladies and others, this collage of bruises is a reminder that no matter how nauseous or sick you may be feeling, please take a break when you need it.

These were due to leaning against a lead shaker nearly all night because I wasn't able to do any of the other stations on my team's manufacturing line due to a combination of smoke inhalation sickness, period discomfort, and being started on a new birth control that month. With all the fires and other things happening with air quality and bad weather, I just wanted to remind everyone to stay safe and to make sure we're taking proper care of ourselves. ♥️

... Read moreIn today's fast-paced world, it's easy to overlook the importance of rest, especially when facing multiple health challenges simultaneously. Bruises and physical discomfort, like those caused from leaning against a hard surface due to exhaustion or illness, serve as stark reminders that our bodies need space to recover. Whether dealing with smoke inhalation from wildfires, the unpleasant side effects of new birth control, or the discomforts of your menstrual cycle, listening to your body's signals is one of the most effective ways to prevent further harm. Smoke inhalation, for example, can cause fatigue, nausea, and dizziness — symptoms that significantly reduce your ability to perform tasks safely. Coupled with hormonal changes or menstrual pain, these factors may exacerbate physical stress, leading to accidents or injuries such as bruising. Taking timely breaks isn’t just about resting; it’s about recognizing these combined risks and acting proactively. Practical self-care tips include finding a safe, comfortable place to rest, staying hydrated, and communicating openly with your team or supervisors about your condition. Monitoring air quality reports and minimizing exposure during poor conditions also plays a vital role in protecting your respiratory health. Additionally, when starting a new medication like birth control, watch for side effects and consult your healthcare provider if symptoms worsen. Above all, this reminder underscores that prioritizing your health is not a sign of weakness but an essential step toward sustained productivity and well-being. Breaks should be embraced as a necessary part of your routine, allowing your body and mind to reset and heal. Taking care of yourself ensures you can continue to contribute effectively and safely in any environment.

What does “taking a break” in a relationship mean
heard it used a lot lately, but I'm not sure I completely understand what it means. To me, it seems like a way to pause things without fully ending them. Like hitting the pause button on a movie. But is it really that simple? Does it mean you're still exclusive? Can you see other people?

should you break up with him?
asking yourself if you need to break up with your person is one of the hardest questions ❤️‍🩹 a lot of times we drag out the end of our relationships because of indecision and uncertainty… and when we do that, we end up hurting ourselves (and them) even more in the process. only you know if
