College students often seek economical yet authentic dining options, and Rome is filled with hidden gems. Popular eateries like Astoria Dal Enzo and Da Osteria Fortunata are known for their delicious yet affordable dishes. These venues emphasize local ingredients and traditional recipes, providing a genuine taste of Italy. Don't miss La Romana for some of their outstanding gelato, or Vineria DPKO for a quick grab of their famous Trapizzino, an innovative Italian street food.
