Reflecting on my own career journey, I've found that embracing the idea of 'career seasons' truly transformed my perspective. Early on, I experienced the season of learning, where absorbing new skills and knowledge felt overwhelming yet exciting. This phase laid the groundwork for the next season—proving myself. Here, I faced the pressure to deliver results and establish my professional value. I also went through the survival season, a tough period marked by workplace stress and uncertainty. It was during this time I realized the importance of resilience and self-care to navigate challenges without burnout. After surviving, came the healing season—essential for processing past experiences and regaining confidence. This restorative time gave me the strength to move forward without settling for less than I deserved. Each of these seasons contributed uniquely to my development. Understanding that a career isn't a nonstop highlight reel but rather a series of growth, setbacks, and recovery phases helped me remain patient and proactive. I encourage others to recognize and honor these seasons in their own careers, knowing that even difficult times will equip them with skills and insights needed for future success. Don't let one challenging phase convince you your career is stuck; every season is preparing you for the next opportunity to flourish.
