maths looks a little different in our house

My youngest was really struggling with dividing numbers, and it was starting to knock her confidence.

So we switched things up less worksheets, more visuals and hands-on learning.

We used real objects, drew it out, grouped things physically and made it make sense instead of just memorising steps… and wow, what a difference.

Now she’s absolutely smashing it and actually enjoying maths again 🙌

A little reminder to us home ed parents that when something isn’t clicking, it doesn’t mean they can’t do it sometimes they just need a different route to get there ✨
