Hey y’all! 👋🏾 Just had a POWERFUL 🙌🏾 moment with the Lord this morning in Mark 8:35. This verse hit me HARD 💥—“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever LOSES their life for ME and the gospel will SAVE it.” 🔥
Now that’s DEEP. 💭 In a world that’s constantly shouting “LIVE YOUR TRUTH,” “CHASE THE BAG,” “SELF-CARE FIRST,” 🙄—Jesus is over here saying the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. 😮 He’s telling us to SURRENDER 🙌🏾 our version of life and pick up HIS CROSS ✝️. Not just on Sundays or when life gets hard—but DAILY. 📆
Let me ask you this: are you really letting JESUS be LORD over your life? Or are you still trying to DRIVE 🚗 with Him riding shotgun? 😬 Two people can’t steer the same car. Eventually, you’ll CRASH. 💥 You gotta DECIDE—either you TRUST Him enough to give Him the wheel 🛞 or you're still playing tug-of-war with your DESTINY. 🎯
When Jesus said “FOLLOW ME,” He meant leave your own roadmap behind 🗺️ and walk HIS PATH—even if it doesn’t look like what the world calls success. The truth is, you can’t have both CONTROL and OBEDIENCE. That’s not how the KINGDOM works. 👑
So today read Luke 9:23 📖 and Galatians 2:20 📖, and let's LAY IT ALL DOWN. 🙏🏾 Give Jesus the steering wheel 💺 and FOLLOW Him wherever He leads—because THAT’S where LIFE really begins. 🕊️💖
