“What I’m not admitting is just beneath the surface trying to gain my attention? What is bubbling up to the surface? What does it want me to know?

There’s always a deeper truth running beneath the one we speak.

The one we almost name in our journaling.

The one we almost admit when someone asks, “How are you really?”

Sometimes it’s not that we’re hiding from others.

It’s that we’ve negotiated a quieter version of ourselves…

and called it “balance.”

But the body knows.

The nervous system knows.

The field keeps sending pings:

A headache that won’t go away.

A person you keep thinking about.

A question that circles but won’t land.

🌀 What am I not telling myself the truth about?

🌀 What part of me is trying to get my attention through silence, resistance, or longing?

And I’m not rushing to answer.

I’m just listening. Without a script. Without shame.

What’s vibrating just beneath the surface for you?

... Read moreIn my personal journey of self-awareness, I've come to realize how much our bodies and minds communicate with us in quiet, often overlooked ways. For instance, a headache that won’t budge or a question that just keeps circling in your mind can be more than just physical or random thoughts—they often serve as messengers pointing towards unacknowledged feelings or unresolved issues. I've found that the practice of pausing and truly listening to these subtle signals leads to profound insights. It’s not about rushing to find answers or forcing clarity, but rather allowing space for these sensations and thoughts to surface without judgment or shame. This approach goes beyond typical journaling or surface-level self-reflection; it taps into the deeper layers of our consciousness that we might usually negotiate or mute under the guise of maintaining 'balance.' For me, one powerful technique has been field listening—paying attention to what my nervous system and emotional field are indicating through bodily sensations, intuition, or even silence. This can sometimes manifest as resistance or longing—feelings that hint at something 'unsaid' or hidden just beneath awareness. As I continue to engage in this practice, I've noticed how it encourages a more authentic connection with myself and others, moving away from performative responses to more genuine expressions of how I really feel. If you try this, start by asking yourself: What part of me is trying to get my attention through silence or resistance? And gently listen without a pre-set script or expectation. This act of inner listening can cultivate greater self-compassion and open the door to deeper healing and clarity. It’s a beautiful reminder that our bodies and inner fields are wise allies, always nudging us towards truth, even when words fail. Ultimately, embracing these subtle signals and the underlying truths they carry can help us live more fully and authentically, reconnecting to parts of ourselves that we might have forgotten or dismissed in the quest for external balance.

I was toxic to my relationship
I hate to even think about it, let alone admit it but I was the toxic one in my marriage. It took me 10 years of my marriage to finally change. In August of 2020, my husband was fed up with my attitude and the way I treated him so he told me that I HAD to get help or else he would leave. So

Why I’m Not the Breadwinner 💸
Hot take, but I feel like many women out there don’t want to be the breadwinner, but we’re too pressured by society to say anything. With girl boss culture at an all time high, it’s hard to admit that sometimes it’s really nice to be provided for and to step into a softer feminine role in marriage.
