You’re Using ChatGPT Wrong… 🤯

Most people think ChatGPT is the problem… but it’s usually the prompt. 👀

... Read moreFrom my own experience using ChatGPT, I’ve found that the key to getting useful and relevant answers lies in how I phrase my prompts. Early on, I thought the AI itself was limiting, but once I started using the prompt formula—specifying the Role, Task, Context, Format, and Tone—the quality of responses improved dramatically. For example, instead of simply asking ChatGPT, “Give me video ideas,” I specify the role I want it to embody, like a YouTube coach, followed by the task, such as generating video ideas tailored to specific themes like motherhood and lifestyle. Adding the context helps it understand the niche, and specifying the format (like a list or table) makes the output easy to use. Lastly, setting the tone, such as fun and relatable, ensures the ideas match my channel’s style. This structured approach doesn’t just work for content creation. I’ve also applied it for meal planning, writing assistance, and even school homework help. The more details and clarity I provide initially, the less I need to follow up with vague clarifications. I recommend always starting by defining the Role to set the perspective, then clearly outlining the Task and relevant Context, before requesting the preferred Format and Tone. This method transforms ChatGPT from a generic tool into a personalized assistant, saving time and boosting productivity. Remember, the clearer and more specific your prompt, the better ChatGPT can understand and deliver exactly what you need. Try experimenting with the formula to see how it changes your results—it's a game changer for anyone looking to leverage AI effectively.
