In one survey, AI-written resumes were the #1 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐠 for 625 U.S. hiring managers.
The irony? 97% 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐞 500 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐈 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞, but will then penalize an applicant for doing the same.

Lastly, a practical tip is to heed warnings like the one spotted in the OCR content — for example, companies like Amazon and IBM explicitly caution against using AI-generated content indiscriminately.
