Okay, fellow ACOTAR fans, let's be real – who hasn't dreamed of sipping a magical brew worthy of Velaris itself? I know I have! My latest obsession has led me down a delightful rabbit hole of crafting ACOTAR themed cocktails, and today I'm so excited to share one specifically inspired by A Court of Mist and Fury. If you're anything like me, ACOMAR holds a special place in your heart. The lush descriptions of the Night Court, the star-dusted streets of Velaris, and the undeniable chemistry between Feyre and Rhysand… it just screams for a drink that embodies that same magic. I wanted something that felt both ethereal and a little dangerous, just like our favorite High Lord and Lady. So, I present to you: The Starfall Elixir. This recipe is my take on a truly enchanting ACOTAR cocktail. It's vibrant, a little sweet, and perfectly captures the essence of a moonlit night in the Night Court. The Starfall Elixir (Serves 1) Ingredients: 2 oz Empress 1908 Gin (for that magical color change!) or any good quality gin 1 oz Elderflower Liqueur (delicate and floral, like Velaris) 0.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice (for a sharp, bright contrast) 0.5 oz Simple Syrup (adjust to taste) 2-3 oz Sparkling Rosé or Prosecco (for the 'starfall' effervescence) Edible glitter or a dash of butterfly pea flower powder (optional, for extra magic!) Lemon twist or fresh berries for garnish Instructions: Chill a coupe or champagne flute. In a shaker, combine gin, elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup with ice. Shake well until thoroughly chilled (about 15-20 seconds). Strain the mixture into your chilled glass. Top with sparkling rosé or prosecco. If using, gently stir in a pinch of edible glitter or butterfly pea flower powder for a shimmery, color-changing effect. Garnish with a lemon twist or a few fresh berries.
