HOW I EDIT PHOTOS TO LOOK DIGITAL

2024/7/10 Edited to

... Read moreHey everyone! 👋 So many of you ask me how I get my photos to have that cool digital aesthetic, especially my beach shots, without a huge expensive camera. Well, I'm spilling all my secrets today so you can create those stunning 'instagram pinterest pictures' too! You absolutely don't need a professional digital camera to achieve that crisp, vibrant, and perfectly edited look – it's all about smart editing and a few photography tricks. First off, like I always say, DON'T FORGET THE FLASH! 📸 It's not just for dimly lit scenes. Using flash even in daylight, especially during sunset or cloudy days, can create that unique 'digital camera' pop. It helps to evenly light your subject, reduce harsh shadows, and give an almost ethereal, slightly retro vibe that's super popular for aesthetic profile pictures. For those 'flash photography night' shots, it’s essential for capturing clear subjects against a moody background, avoiding that 'blurry aesthetic girl beach night' look unless that's your artistic choice! Now, let's talk editing apps. My go-to for that incredible 'from this to this' transformation is definitely Colourtone. It's packed with amazing filters and precise adjustment tools. My absolute favorite filter in Colourtone for that vintage, dreamy aesthetic is the ANCIEN filter. It instantly adds so much character and a nostalgic feel that I adore! But don't just stop there. After applying ANCIEN, here’s how I fine-tune it to perfection: Contrast: I usually bump this up slightly to make details pop and add depth, ensuring your main subject stands out beautifully. Brightness & Exposure: Depending on the original shot, I adjust these to ensure the image isn't too dark or overexposed. For a bright, airy aesthetic, a slight increase helps to lift the overall mood of the picture. Shadows: Bringing up the shadows can recover details lost in darker areas, giving a softer, more balanced look without losing definition. Temperature & Tint: This is where you really define the mood. For those warm, beachy vibes, I might slightly increase the Temperature to enhance the golden tones. A touch of Tint can correct any unwanted green or magenta casts, ensuring natural skin tones. Vibrance & Saturation: These are key for those vibrant, yet natural-looking colors. I often increase Vibrance more than Saturation to make colors pop without looking artificial or overly processed. This is perfect for making those ocean blues and sunset oranges truly sing, achieving that coveted 'korean pinterest aesthetic girl beach' look! Beyond Colourtone, I sometimes dabble with other editing apps for specific touches. Lightroom Mobile is fantastic for more precise color grading and selective adjustments, while VSCO offers a range of beautiful film-like presets for different moods. Snapseed is also awesome for minor touch-ups and healing unwanted objects. Getting the shot right before editing is half the battle! For those 'profile picture girls' or 'photo pinterest' worthy shots, consider your pose. Instead of just standing stiffly, try walking away, looking over your shoulder, or capturing candid moments like laughing or interacting with your surroundings. For beach shots, playing with your hair, dipping your toes in the water, or even sitting gracefully on the sand can create beautiful, natural 'originale idee pose photo plage' moments. Think about composition too! Utilizing the rule of thirds, incorporating leading lines, and framing your shot with natural elements like palm trees or the horizon can instantly elevate your photo game. Remember, practice makes perfect! Don't be afraid to play around with these settings and experiment with different looks. You don't need a fancy digital camera to create stunning, aesthetic photos that perfectly capture your vibe. Go out there and create some magic with your phone!
