🌼Mid-Year Check🌼

6/4 Edited to

... Read moreMid-year is truly an ideal time to pause and reflect on our emotional and mental well-being. From my own experience, without such a checkpoint, the emotional weight accumulated during the first half of the year can easily drag us down. I found myself stuck in a cycle of replaying painful moments and holding onto frustrations that no longer served me. What resonated most with me was the idea that instead of becoming a new person, sometimes we just need to shed the old emotional baggage. This concept of becoming a "lighter version" of yourself helped me realize that releasing resentment and toxic patterns isn’t about erasing who I am but clearing space for growth. I also learned the immense value of having support during this process. A life coach guided me through identifying mental patterns I had normalized, such as negative self-talk and lingering attachments that hindered my progress. This guidance made it easier to process emotions constructively, rather than allowing them to cloud my outlook or trap me in bad habits. Implementing small daily practices, like mindful journaling and intentional emotional check-ins, has helped me maintain clarity and positivity throughout the year. Now, I approach the second half with renewed energy and less emotional overload, which has improved my relationships and productivity. If you find yourself carrying emotional clutter into the new half of the year, consider making time for your own mid-year check. Whether through personal reflection or seeking a certified life coach's help, this step can be transformative to your mental and emotional well-being. It’s remarkable how much mental space we gain when we let go of what no longer belongs in our future.

Honestly one of the hardest things I’ve tried to put together. Probably because I have waayyyy toooo many options! I honestly think if I stopped reading today it would still be considered a fantastic reading year. I think I have read more new to me authors than ever before. I have only read 1 rerea
