🧠 The brain won't stop even when the body is tired?
This is why you are "not sleepy" despite working all day....
👨🏻⚕️, the neuroscientist explained,
Heavy use of the brain all day, with no rest, no rhythm to relax.
It makes it impossible for our brains to recognize that "it's time to stop working."
It therefore continues to emit "beta waves."
Which are waves associated with awakening, analytical thinking and stress.
And that's why the body is exhausted, but the heart is still depressed! It can't sleep.
😴 If you want your brain to know, "It's bedtime," try these five methods.
1. 📱 Turn off the mobile screen at least 1 hour before bed.
Because the blue light from the screen inhibits the production of melatonin, the sleep hormone.
2 🌬️. Breathe training. 4-7-8
Inhale 4 seconds → Hold your breath 7 seconds → Relax your breath 8 seconds
This technique will obviously help the nervous system relax.
3. 🎧 Turn on white noise or ASMR.
To give the brain a calm "backdrop," blocking external noise.
4. 📝 Write "something worrying" on the paper before bed.
Just by writing it out, the brain perceives, "We took care of it," reducing the loop.
5. 🧘 Practice 3 minutes of ADHD.
No depth, just closing your eyes and focusing on your breath can help adjust your brain waves to calm mode.
