Fav of the week: Winter Time ❄️

Okay, fellow fujoshis and BL lovers, it's that time again! I'm so excited to share my weekly BL manhwa recap with you all. This past week was a whirlwind of emotions, and I managed to complete three out of seven stories I was following – a personal best! It's always so satisfying to catch up, even though I know I'll probably be starting even more new series next week. Who can resist a compelling new BL story, right? I usually find myself deep-diving into these worlds, and this week was no exception. Let's talk about some of the highlights. First up, the one that caught my eye right away: Winter Time. This one really sets a mood with its beautiful artwork, especially those scenes of two men in winter clothing, engaged in what looks like a really close conversation. It's got that cozy yet intense vibe that I absolutely adore. I rated this one 3 stars, which means it's a solid, enjoyable read that definitely kept me engaged and wanting more. If you're into winter-themed romances with a touch of intimacy, you should absolutely check out Winter Time manhwa! Then there's I Declare Vengeance! Oh boy, this one was a ride! The panels showing two men in close proximity, and another with actual wings, hint at a really dramatic and high-stakes plot. It's not your typical fluffy romance; it's got an edge. I gave this 4 stars because the intensity and the unique storyline really pulled me in. If you're searching for a BL manhwa that's packed with drama, mystery, and maybe a bit of a darker past, I Declare Vengeance manhwa is a must-read. Another gem I stumbled upon was Swim in the Scent. The imagery of a man in a pool with another, and that delightful panel of a blonde man gazing at a blushing dark-haired one, just screams romantic tension! This story had such a captivating atmosphere. I gave it a strong 4 stars. For those who enjoy a beautifully drawn, sensuous BL story, Swim in the Scent manhwa is definitely one to add to your list. I also spent some time with Save the Dae. This one features scenes with two men, one shushing the other, and another panel with them in school uniforms, suggesting a youthful or perhaps slightly secretive romance. It was a sweet read, earning 3 stars from me. It's perfect if you're looking for a softer, school-life themed BL manhwa. Amber Alert was another fantastic 4-star read. The panels depicting a man lying down with legs over him and another resting his head on a shoulder just radiate comfort and intimacy. It's a heartwarming story that really delves into the emotional connection between characters. Part-Time Partner offered a different flavor. With two men looking intently at each other, and one holding a cigarette, it hints at a more mature or perhaps complicated dynamic. It was a solid 3-star read, offering an intriguing take on relationships. And finally, Beware the Ides of March. This one grabbed me with its winter embrace scene and intense gazes, promising a story filled with passion and perhaps a bit of conflict. It’s a 4-star for its powerful emotions and engaging plot. It's always a joy to find new ongoing BL manhwa that keep you hooked week after week. Sometimes you're in the mood for a light-hearted school romance, and other times you need that intense gangster BL manhwa fix, or a story like 'Please Soothe Me' that just melts your heart.
