Why do I have so many…?

Some days you meet the soft me.

The one who listens, gives grace, and would rather keep the peace.

Then there’s the strong me.

The one who learned that kindness doesn’t mean allowing everything.

There’s the quiet me.

And don’t let her fool you she notices more than she says.

There’s the joyful me who can laugh until she cries.

And there’s the woman who has cried the one who went through things that changed her and came out carrying wisdom she didn’t have before.

There’s the confident me.

And yes, there are still moments when that little bit of doubt tries to show up too.

For a long time, I thought maybe I had to choose which one was really me.

But look at a chandelier. One crystal can catch the light differently depending on where you’re standing. Different colors. Same crystal.

Maybe I’m like that too.

Different sides.

Different emotions.

Different seasons.

But every one of them is me.

And after everything life has taught me, I’ve finally decided.

I gotta be me.

I gotta be me.

💙 You are worthy.

💛 You are enough.

🌻 Your story matters.

With Love, Shirley

... Read moreIn my personal experience, acknowledging and embracing the many sides of myself has been a transformative journey. At times, I have felt fragmented, wondering which version of me was the 'real' one—the gentle, peace-keeping self or the strong, assertive one that sets boundaries. But gradually, I realized that these different expressions aren't contradictions; rather, they reflect the depth and complexity of being human. Much like the metaphor of a chandelier—in which a single crystal reflects different colors depending on the light and viewpoint—I too cast varying emotions and energies in different moments. Some days, my strength shines bright when standing up for myself, while other days, my softer side seeks connection and understanding. Recognizing that each of these aspects has value enabled me to stop forcing myself into a singular identity. The quiet moments became opportunities for deep observation and learning, while my joy, even laughter to tears, reminded me of life’s preciousness despite challenges. Importantly, the experiences of sorrow taught me resilience and imparted wisdom that I carry forward. Accepting doubt without shame brought humility and growth. I learned that confidence isn’t about never feeling uncertain, but rather about embracing those vulnerabilities as part of the whole self. If you find yourself wondering why you feel so many different emotions or personalities within, remember that this multiplicity is a sign of richness in character, adaptability, and emotional intelligence. You don’t have to choose one version to be your true self—every part contributes to your unique story. Ultimately, being authentic means honoring all your facets. When you say, "I gotta be me," you’re affirming your worthiness, enoughness, and the importance of your personal journey. This acceptance fosters inner peace and allows us to show up as whole, complex, and beautiful individuals in the world.

We all have different sides depending on the mind amass environment. You’re still you regardless. It’s just that some bring out that side of you at that moment. We all have those sides including myself. It’s nothing wrong, you’re just simply and honestly you❤️🥰😍
