Scripture Memory Plan ↓

We are starting a new scripture passage series called “The Ways of Man” on Labor Day—tomorrow.

✨We will be sharing 3 additional Bible translations: NLT, NIV, and KJV✨

We’ll be memorizing Psalm 1 this month:

WEEK 1:

1. Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,

nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

WEEK 2:

2. but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night.

3a. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season,

WEEK 3:

3b. and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.

4. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away.

WEEK 4:

5. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;

6. for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

—Psalm 1 (ESV)

By integrating memorization into daily life, you not only remember God's word but also reflect on its application in your life. Psalm 1 offers rich insights into the importance of righteous living, contrasting the paths of the righteous and the wicked. As you memorize each verse weekly, consider journaling your thoughts and reflections on how these teachings impact your actions and mindset. You can also explore community resources, such as Bible study groups, which often offer support and encouragement in memorization goals. Utilize technology by setting reminders or using apps that assist with scripture memorization techniques, making it easier to stay engaged throughout the month. Share your progress on social media or with fellow church members; this not only creates accountability but fosters a shared experience of learning and growth in faith. Incorporating daily meditation on these verses can enhance memorization and deepen understanding, leading to a more fruitful spiritual journey.
