Anime that I recommend watching!✨

I’ve been watching anime for years and there’s so many good anime out there! Especially as a beginner it could be a bit much so here’s a list to start off with! Don’t forget to save for later!😉

•Soul Eater: This is one of my first anime that I’ve seen and I would say that it’s a pretty good show and I wish that it gets a remake!😭 The art style and vibes is what got my attention to start watching it in the first place.

•Hunter x Hunter: One of my friends had shown me this one while staying the night at my house one time and I was hooked! It’s a cool adventure anime that starts off pretty wholesome then it goes to a bit serious towards the end. If you’re looking to watch an anime about following a character(or character’s) through a journey then this is a must watch!👍🏽

•Demon Slayer: I started watching this because of hearing the theme song everywhere and liked it! The art style is nice and it has some cool action scenes that I feel like most people would enjoy, especially as a first time anime watcher! If that doesn’t catch your interest I could say that Michael Jackson is in the show(jk!😉) but it’s actually good anime to check out!

•Kakegurui: This anime is…interesting to say the least.😅 I would say that it may be an acquired taste,it depends if you can handle the sexual vibes that goes on into the show. For short,it’s an anime revolving around gambling. The animation style is pretty cool especially when the characters make certain facial expressions!

... Read moreFinding your first few anime series can feel like diving into a whole new world, right? I remember feeling overwhelmed when I first started, but trust me, it's so rewarding once you find those gems! Beyond my initial recommendations, let me share a bit more about what makes these series truly stand out, especially for someone just starting their anime journey, and give you some tips on how to explore this amazing genre. Let's talk about Soul Eater, which first aired in 2008. What drew me in wasn't just its unique art style – it's the perfect blend of Action, Fantasy, and Comedy. The Shounen elements are strong, focusing on teamwork and overcoming challenges, but it's got this wonderfully gothic, spooky vibe that makes it feel fresh. If you're looking for something with a compelling plot and memorable characters from the get-go, this one’s a fantastic entry point. It's not just action; it’s got heart and humor. Then there’s Hunter x Hunter (2011). When my friend showed me this, I wasn't expecting such a deep Adventure and Fantasy experience. It starts off so light and fun, but believe me, it evolves into truly complex and gripping arcs. It’s an exemplar of how a good Shounen can mature with its audience. The character development is phenomenal, and the power system is incredibly well thought out. If you love stories about characters growing through a long journey with unexpected twists, this is a must-watch anime list to watch. And who hasn't heard the buzz around Demon Slayer (2019)? This series is a visual masterpiece. The animation studio pulled out all the stops, making every Action sequence feel incredibly fluid and impactful. It’s categorized as Adventure and Dark Fantasy, but don't let the 'dark' part intimidate you; it has a very hopeful core. For beginners, it's an easy entry because the animation is so captivating, and the story is straightforward yet emotionally resonant. It sets a high bar for modern anime! Finally, Kakegurui (2017). This one is definitely for those who want something with a psychological edge. It’s a Drama, Mystery, and Thriller wrapped in a high-stakes gambling world. The facial expressions alone are iconic and completely draw you into the characters' intense minds. While it might be an acquired taste due to its mature themes, it’s a brilliant example of how diverse the anime world can be beyond typical action and adventure. It’s often underrated among beginner-friendly anime series but offers a unique viewing experience if you're open to it. For anyone wondering how to actually watch anime or find more anime suggestions to watch, here are a few personal tips. First, don't be afraid to try different genres! What you think you might like might surprise you. Secondly, services like Crunchyroll or Funimation are great starting points with huge libraries. Also, pay attention to the animation studios – some, like Ufotable (Demon Slayer) or Madhouse (Hunter x Hunter), are known for their consistently high quality. Looking at the release year can also give you a hint about the animation style. My anime list top anime often includes a mix of classics and newer hits. Most importantly, enjoy the journey! There's an entire anime world waiting for you to explore.
