Mathew 28:6

He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. On this glorious Easter Sunday, we celebrate the central event of our faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This moment transcends time and speaks to the heart of God's love and power. After enduring the crucifixion, where Jesus bore the weight of our sins, His resurrection signifies victory over death itself. The angel's declaration, “He is not here; he has risen,” invites us to recognize that the tomb, which once held our Savior, is now empty. This emptiness is filled with hope and promise for all believers.#risenking #christisking #jesusisrisen #eastersunday #victory

... Read moreAfter pondering the incredible truth of Matthew 28:6 – that He Is Risen! – my soul is truly filled with immense hope and gratitude. The empty tomb isn't just a historical event; it's a living promise that continues to speak into every aspect of our lives, from our deepest fears to our highest hopes. This core message of victory over death truly sets the foundation for understanding so much more about God's love and provision for us. This powerful resurrection truth often leads me to reflect on other profound passages in Matthew, especially when life feels uncertain. Take Matthew 6:25-34, for instance, where Jesus lovingly tells us not to worry about our lives—what we'll eat, drink, or wear. He points to the birds of the air, who don't sow or reap, yet our heavenly Father feeds them. And the lilies of the field, dressed in splendor greater than Solomon! It’s such a gentle yet firm reminder that if God cares for creation in such exquisite detail, how much more will He care for us, His beloved children? I’ve definitely had my share of worries, whether it’s about future plans, finances, or just the daily stresses that can weigh us down. But remembering these verses, especially after contemplating the ultimate victory of the resurrection, helps me surrender those anxieties. It’s like, if God conquered death itself, surely He can help me with my smaller, earthly concerns. This perspective truly brings a profound sense of peace and helps me trust in His divine provision, knowing He has a plan even when I can't see it clearly. This shift from anxiety to trust is a cornerstone of living a truly fruitful life. And speaking of God's perfect, often unexpected, plan, Matthew 21:42 always strikes a deep chord with me. Jesus asks, 'Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes’?' This verse is incredibly profound. It makes me think about how often things in life might seem to go wrong, or we feel rejected, like that discarded stone. But God has a way of taking what seems cast aside and making it central to His grand design. For Jesus, being rejected and crucified seemed like an end, but it was actually the path to His glorious resurrection, making Him the cornerstone of our salvation and our faith. This gives me so much encouragement when I face setbacks or feel overlooked. It reminds me that God can use any situation, even the most difficult ones, to bring about something marvelous. It’s a powerful lesson in trusting His sovereignty and seeing His hand in everything. Living out these truths, especially as someone striving to be a 'FRUITFUL GIRL' walking in faith, means embracing both the celebratory joy of the resurrection and the daily trust in God's provision and ultimate plan. It’s about letting these scriptures transform our perspective, moving us from a place of anxiety and doubt to one of profound peace, purpose, and unwavering hope. What an amazing journey of faith we are on, knowing that because He Is Risen, we can overcome anything!
