BEACH ANGLE🏖️

kneeling really gives you that “slim thick” look everyone goes for.

personally being a smaller girl, it’s hard to get photos in my bathing suit that make me feel good and comfy.

with people saying I look “too skinny” I learned kneeling helps accentuate your natural curves 💌#stylesetter #summer #bikini #photoideas

... Read moreOkay, so we all know that kneeling pose is a lifesaver for accentuating those natural curves and getting that 'slim thick' look, right? It totally works wonders for feeling confident in a bikini! But what if you want to mix it up or find other ways to capture your best self on the sand? I've been there, trying to figure out how to get those perfect beach shots, and I've picked up a few more tricks that really help. Beyond the kneeling pose, I've found that standing poses can be super flattering too. One of my go-to's is standing with one hip slightly popped out and one foot pointed forward. It instantly elongates your legs and creates a really nice shape. If you're feeling a bit self-conscious, try turning slightly to the side – it slims the silhouette beautifully. Another great tip is to engage your core; it makes a huge difference in how you carry yourself. Don't forget about sitting poses! Lounging on a beach towel or chair can look incredibly relaxed and chic. Try sitting with your legs crossed or slightly bent, playing with different angles. Maybe one arm resting on your bent knee, or casually looking out at the ocean. It's all about making it look natural and effortless. And speaking of natural, remember how the kneeling pose can accentuate your bottom half? Sitting poses can do that too, especially if you angle your body correctly. And for those candid, 'hot girl' vibes, walking shots are amazing! It's less about a static pose and more about movement. Stroll along the shoreline, looking back over your shoulder, or laugh genuinely with a friend. The key is genuine emotion. Sometimes, the best photos happen when you’re not even trying to pose. Here are a few more general tips I swear by for any beach photoshoot: Find that flattering beach angle: Experiment with your photographer (or tripod!) to find what works best for your body. Sometimes shooting from slightly below can make legs look longer, or a higher angle can be more slimming. Lighting is everything: Golden hour (sunrise or sunset) is magical for soft, warm light that makes everyone look glowy. Avoid harsh midday sun if you can, as it can create unflattering shadows. Props are your friends: A wide-brimmed hat, a stylish pair of sunglasses, or even applying sunscreen (just like in some of my pics!) can add an element of interest and make the shot feel more dynamic and real. It gives you something natural to do with your hands. Confidence is your best accessory: Seriously! The more comfortable and happy you feel, the more it shines through in your photos. Don't be afraid to smile, laugh, and just be yourself. Remember, these photos are for you to feel good! Don't overthink it: Sometimes the simplest poses are the most effective. Just relax, breathe, and let your personality come through. So whether you're perfecting 'the pose' from my original post or trying out these new ideas, remember it's all about celebrating yourself and having fun in the sun!
