Sometimes, I even throw in a small ice pack if I know I'll be pushing myself hard. And just because they're handy for so many things, I always have a few rubber bands – whether for my hair or temporarily fixing something that's come loose! Hydration and energy are vital. A reusable water bottle is non-negotiable. I try to refill it throughout the day. For snacks, I opt for something quick and easy like a granola bar, fruit, or a small bag of nuts to keep my energy levels up, especially during long rehearsal days. Finally, for a bit of comfort and focus, my AirPods are always with me. Perfect for tuning out distractions during warm-ups, listening to music on the way to the studio, or even just relaxing during a break. And since dance can sometimes take you outdoors or near windows, I also make sure to pack a small sunscreen stick or spray – protecting my skin is important, even on cloudy days. Having these essentials, plus a few personal touches, makes a huge difference in my dance routine. It's all about being prepared so you can focus on what truly matters: your passion for dance!
