To Japan with Vietnam Airlines is better than I thought!
Having said that, we used to use Vietnam Airlines.
I went to Japan once before Covid.
We went to Osaka, stopped and traveled in Hanoi.

Vietnam Airlines, both. Best price and time.
Compared to the cheaper Low cost, it's true.
But when you add the weight of your pocket, reserve a seat.
It's even more expensive.
And a 5-6 hour journey.
It's quite a problem for gastroenterologists, so it's easy for us to choose full service.
Better to include food.

หลายคนถามกันบ่อยว่า Vietnam Airlines “เป็น full service ไหม” และ “ดีไหมถ้าจะบินไปญี่ปุ่น” จากที่เราใช้จริง จุดที่ทำให้รู้สึกคุ้มคือค่าใช้จ่ายมันค่อนข้างจบในตัว ไม่ต้องมานั่งบวกเพิ่มทีละอย่างเหมือนบางสายการบิน โดยเฉพาะถ้าต้องบิน 5–6 ชั่วโมงขึ้นไป การมีอาหารรวมมาให้ช่วยเซฟอาการหิว/แสบท้องระหว่างทางได้ดีมาก สิ่งที่เราแนะนำให้เช็กก่อนกดจองคือ 1) โควตากระเป๋าและเงื่อนไขไฟล์ทต่อเครื่อง 2) รุ่นเครื่องบินในแต่ละช่วง เพราะ “ที่นั่ง” และความบันเทิงต่างกันพอสมควร เท่าที่เคยเจอ เส้นทางแบบ BKK–Ho Chi Minh–Nagoya ที่ใช้ Airbus A321 จะเป็นลำตัวแคบ ความรู้สึกบนเครื่องจะกะทัดรัดกว่า และบางไฟล์ทไม่มีจอส่วนตัว ส่วน Tokyo–Ho Chi Minh–BKK ที่เป็น Boeing B787 จะรู้สึกโล่งกว่า นั่งสบายกว่า และมีจอส่วนตัว ทำให้ไฟล์ทยาวๆ ผ่านไวขึ้น เรื่องที่นั่ง (Seat) ถ้าเป็นคนชอบยืดขา แนะนำเลือกที่นั่งทางเดินจะลุกง่าย หรือถ้าอยากได้พื้นที่เพิ่มลองดูแถวทางออกฉุกเฉิน แต่ต้องอ่านเงื่อนไขให้ครบ ส่วนตัวรู้สึกว่าความสะอาดและสภาพเบาะโอเคดี ไม่โทรม ไม่ค่อยเจอฝุ่นเกาะ อาหารบนเครื่องเป็นอีกคำถามที่เจอบ่อย สำหรับเรา “อร่อยบ้างกลางๆ บ้าง” แต่ข้อดีคือมีเซ็ตคาวให้เลือกหลากหลาย (หมู/ไก่/ปลาแล้วแต่ไฟล์ท) และมีเครื่องดื่มให้ครบ บางไฟล์ทยังมีแอลกอฮอล์เสิร์ฟด้วย ถ้าใครกินมังสวิรัติ/ไม่กินเนื้อ ลองสั่งเมนูพิเศษล่วงหน้า เช่น vegetarian oriental meal (โดยปกติต้องแจ้งก่อนเดินทาง) จะช่วยให้ได้อาหารที่ตรงข้อจำกัดมากกว่า ส่วนของว่างประเภทแซนด์วิช บางครั้งขนมปังอาจแห้งนิดหน่อย แนะนำพกขนม/ยาดม/น้ำติดตัวไว้เผื่อฉุกเฉิน โดยเฉพาะคนที่เมารถเมาเครื่องหรือเป็นโรคกระเพาะง่าย ประเด็นต่อเครื่องที่เวียดนาม: ถ้ามีเวลาน้อยอาจไม่เหมาะ เพราะต้องเผื่อเวลาเดินทางในสนามบินและผ่านตรวจต่างๆ แต่ถ้ามีเวลารอหลายชั่วโมง มันกลายเป็นข้อดีได้เลย เพราะสามารถออกไปเที่ยวใกล้ๆ เมืองอย่างโฮจิมินห์หรือฮานอยได้ (อย่าลืมเช็กวีซ่า/เงื่อนไขเข้าเมืองและเวลาที่ต้องกลับมาเช็กอินใหม่) อีกอย่างที่อยากเตือนคือของกินในสนามบินมักราคาสูงกว่าข้างนอก ถ้ารู้ว่าต้องรอนาน เตรียมงบหรือเตรียมของกินเล็กๆ ไว้จะสบายกว่า สุดท้ายเรื่องดีเลย์ จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัว เจอน้อยมาก และถ้าดีเลย์ระดับประมาณครึ่งชั่วโมงยังพอรับได้ แต่แนะนำเลือกไฟล์ทต่อเครื่องที่มี “เวลาคั่น” เผื่อไว้หน่อย จะได้ไม่ต้องวิ่งหรือเครียด โดยรวมถ้าถามว่า Vietnam Airlines ดีไหม สำหรับคนอยากได้ full service ราคาไม่แรง และโอเคกับการต่อเครื่อง เราว่าคุ้มและไว้ใจได้ค่ะ
