Sugar-Free Pumpkin spice sauce 🎃

I love making my lattes at home and finally found a good recipe for a sugar free pumpkin spice sauce for them!!

You will need:

1 can pumpkin purée (15 oz)

3/4 cup Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener, plus more to taste if desired

1/2 cup sugar-free maple flavored syrup

1 cup water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

Instructions:

1. Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and mix well.

2. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently.

3. Let the sauce cook for approximately 15–20 minutes, or until it becomes thicker.

4. Taste the sauce and add more Lakanto sweetener if you prefer it sweeter.

5. Remove from the heat and let it cool until warm.

6. Blend the sauce (one time) until it becomes smooth and creamy. (Optional)

7. Let it cool completely and transfer it to an airtight container.

8. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 to 7 days.

What I appreciate most about using Lakanto Monkfruit Sweetener is its keto-friendly and zero-calorie nature, which means you can enjoy the authentic sweetness without any guilt or blood sugar spikes. Incorporating sugar-free maple flavored syrup adds a subtle depth and natural sweetness while keeping it healthy. One tip I found helpful is to cook the sauce on medium-low heat and stir frequently to prevent burning and to allow the flavors to meld beautifully. Blending the sauce after cooking not only smooths out the texture but also enhances the creamy consistency that complements any latte perfectly. For those who are cautious about preservatives and artificial ingredients, Libby’s 100% pure pumpkin purée with no preservatives is an excellent base. Using natural pumpkin purée ensures you get the rich pumpkin flavor and nutrients such as beta-carotene and fiber. This pumpkin spice sauce isn’t just great for lattes; I’ve tried it as a topping on sugar-free yogurts and even drizzled over pancakes or oatmeal for an autumn twist. Because it's stored in an airtight container and refrigerated, it stays fresh for nearly a week, making it a convenient staple for your seasonal recipes. Finally, if you want to tweak the spice level, increasing the pumpkin pie spice mix can give it a more robust flavor, or you can add cinnamon and nutmeg separately to suit your palate. This adaptability makes the recipe ideal for personal experimentation while keeping calories and sugars in check.
