how to deal w/ “workday blues” 🫨⁉️#corporategirlie

Sharing some actionable quick tips on making Mondays and just every work day a little better. 🫨

I personally find the last point serving me really well + effective fix for a quick perk-me-up. Also, I know some people wake at 6am to get their blood pumping for a great start to their day 🫨 — I mean idk how often can one realistically squeeze in a morning workout in a week because yes, it’s great if you do but I know it’s quite a mission for me (at least) trying to score that first things first at the start of my day LOL

The next best thing I could do is to try to clock in more steps while I get to work, such as taking the stairs instead of escalators. It’s something less painful, more achievable, easy enough to accomplish in a shorter period of time. Yet a little goes a long way my friend 😂 trust in the ✨compounding effect✨to work its magic!

Hope you’re having a great day at work! If not, try these and lmk 😂

... Read moreWhen tackling the workday blues, especially on Mondays, preparation and mindset are key. One thing I've learned is that a quick morning walk or exposure to natural light can set a positive tone for the day. If you're heading out early, always check the weather, plan a safe route, and bring essentials like water and your phone for safety. Keeping a ‘sufficient journal’ at the end of the day helps me reflect and acknowledge my efforts, even if the day felt tough. Writing positive affirmations or words of encouragement before bedtime can reinforce a healthier mindset and reduce feelings of insufficiency. Also, dressing in your favorite outfit and savoring a mindful, healthy breakfast really boosts confidence and sets a calm pace rather than rushing. Taking small, manageable steps—like opting for stairs instead of escalators—adds up and improves your mood through physical activity without overwhelming your schedule. For added comfort, listening to uplifting or feel-good music during your commute or getting ready can improve your emotional outlook. These little rituals combine to create a more enjoyable and less stressful start to your workweek. Remember, it’s about finding what fits realistically into your routine and allowing those tiny wins to build up the momentum for a brighter workday.
