Weight loss Stats

Here’s an update on my weight loss progress. I never would have thought I’d be here so quickly when I first started this journey. My size 10 pants that I just bought are already too big. I really should have ordered them in an 8. Im down to a medium in my tights and have a ton of size large workout wear I need to box up.

I’ve been gardening in my yard and walking the neighborhood with my toddler to get a little bit of exercise in. Starting tomorrow I need to get back in the gym. I have no excuse as I have a membership that provides childcare for up to two hours a day. Wish me luck.

... Read moreIn this article, I detail the significant changes in my weight loss journey, highlighting key milestones such as losing over 13 pounds in the last 30 days and achieving a 32.1% completion rate towards my overall goal. Tracking progress is vital, and I've been fortunate to experience a steady pace of about 2.81 lbs lost per week. This rate indicates that by approximately April 10, 2024, I could comfortably reach my target weight of 175 lbs, which has been a motivating factor for me. In addition to these stats, engaging in activities like gardening and walking has been practical in fitting exercise into my life as a parent. I've also taken advantage of a gym membership that provides childcare, aiding in creating a routine that works around family commitments. Challenges such as managing time between fitness and parenting can seem daunting, but breaking down the journey into achievable goals makes it possible. Incorporating short, manageable workouts into my schedule has really helped amplify my results. For anyone else on a similar journey, remember it’s essential to celebrate small victories along the way and to seek support from various online communities, such as those focused on weight loss after pregnancy or managing PCOS. These forums can be rich resources for advice, motivation, and shared experiences. Embrace vulnerability and reach out — every step forward counts in this journey to better health and well-being.
